1 min Read

When you’re investing in plumbing equipment, it’s important to understand some industry-specific terminology to make sure you’re making the right purchase decision. Here are some terms to improve your plumbing knowledge:

Cleanout Pipe: A cleanout is a section of pipe with a removable cover for easy access. It is a pipe fitting that can be opened and closed, allowing an entrance point into the drainage system for drain cleaning, clearing blockages or camera inspections.

Snake: A sewer snake is an incredibly useful plumbing tool. It’s a long, flexible metal cable that can be inserted into drain lines or sewer pipes to remove clogs.
